Hi, everyone! I know this post is a deviation from my norm of once a week short stories or character interviews, but there are MASSIVE things happening on the group blog I write for and I’m really excited.

The group blog is called When Readers Write, and we’re revamping it to make the title a reality by introducing a new genre we’re calling Mosaic Fiction. Each week we’ll introduce three versions of a scene and YOU vote to choose which one goes into a novella we’re creating. This week, we have the main character up to be voted on. So far we’ve introduced Jersey Lain, Ernestine Dearby, Danielle Steinman, and today’s introduction (which I’ll link to below) is named Jasmine Ortega. Tomorrow we’ll be introducing another character and then you’ll have three days to vote for your favorite!

Next week you’ll get to choose the plot! This book is all about what YOU want. I know we all love a traditional story, but this is going to be a good does of a whole new kind of fun. Won’t you join us for this exciting adventure?

As always, thank you SO MUCH for reading. If you could let us know what you think of this on WRW with likes, comments, or follows we would be more than grateful. Thanks all!

Find Jasmine Ortega HERE.

I now leave you to your regularly scheduled blog posts.

What a fun idea! I was picturing a cooperative story where one person writes the first line, the second person writes the next line, and so on. I look forward to seeing how it goes.

Interesting creative approach. Are you familiar with the Wild Cards series ? These were mosaic novels using a shared universe.
