A Moment

In light of recent events, i.e Dallas, Baton Rouge, and so many other tragedies within the borders of the USA and around the world, I wanted to  take a moment to write something in honor of the lives lost but I promise your regular post is on the way.

Every morning each of us awaken and take for granted we’ll come back home to sleep in our own beds that night and there are forces active within our world who wish to prevent this from happening. Innocent lives from both sides of the political aisle have been unfairly snuffed out by those who have chosen hatred. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to everyone who has been touched by this chaos.

I take comfort in the fact evil will always be overcome by good, and darkness will always be dispelled by the light. There is nothing that can snuff out hope so long as good men and women stand against hatred of every form and from every angle. This post is dedicated to each individual willing to do so.

To every officer who wakes up in the morning and puts on their uniform to faithfully, justly, and without prejudice form the thin blue line protecting innocent lives of every color and creed, I say thank you. To each paramedic, doctor, and first responder who do their best to save every precious life that crosses their path, you have my gratitude. And to every man and woman of our armed forces who do what you do so I might have the freedom to write these words, I am forever grateful. And this gratitude extends to the loved ones who selflessly support you so you might do these wonderful things.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. These words are so small, but they’re all I have to give. You have my support. You have my prayers. God keep and bless each of you and bring you home safely to your loved ones each night. God bless the USA and all other nations willing to stand against the darkness.
