Justina Luther has never been one to fit into any one box; as a girl she was a tomboy in high heels.
Raised in a house that didn’t swear, keeps her books the same way. While she won’t write a scene that would make your grandma blush, her words will push your emotions to the brink with twists you’ll never see coming.
From thrillers to romance, fantasy, and horror, she goes where her imagination leads, writing characters with integrity, transparency, and flaws, who don’t quite fit the box.
A Crazy Ink Exclusive author, she has several titles under her belt including:
The Step Into Darkness Series:
Would You Have Believed Me?
Gut Check
The Future Looks Forward
Solo Titles:
The Heart recalls
Cherry Sunrises
With short stories featured in:
Beyond Atlantis, A Crazy Ink Anthology
Beyond The Rose, A Crazy Ink Anthology
Beyond The Beanstalk, A Crazy Ink Anthology
Beyond Fantasia, A Crazy Ink Anthology

Your disclaimer, “Every article and short story here is fictional and deal with imaginary characters and events. Any similarities between what is written here and persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental,” makes me wonder why we use this. Every writer draws from experiences and from people they know (or think they know). Thus the similarities are not PURELY coincidental. Perhaps the word “purely” should be replaced by the word “hardly!” My brother-in-law read my short story, The Christmas Portrait, and told me with a knowing smile he knew who all the characters were modeled after. I think he was just a bit paranoid — but — you see my own disclaimer, “The characters portrayed are fictional, and any similarity . . . blah, blah, blah,” is little more than window dressing. 🙂 — SM

I don’t intentionally model any traits of characters in my short stories off of people I know, or have met, believe it or not, so I do consider it a pure coincidence. haha
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. It’s very appreciated.

JL, thank you for liking my ultra-short story (a tease, really) “On the Horizon.” I see a lot of creative energy on this blog, not only in the stories themselves, but also in the execution of the ideas–character interviews, soliciting audience feedback for actual stories, etc. Very cool! Not that it’s my place to give advice (NOT writing-wise, don’t worry), but I did have one thing, take it or leave it: “Images” is very intense for being so short, and I really enjoyed it. But one thing you might consider is to put some kind of symbol/marking between paragraphs whenever you change scenes/locations, just to keep the reader clear about the “geography” of your story. Just my two yen. Thanks and see you around.
